Both the front and back lights are super bright, which is great for riding home at night on poorly-lit streets, particularly now that it gets dark before 5PM. It's a little difficult to get the batteries to work properly on the rear light--it is cheaply made. That said, once you do get it to work (15 minutes later), it's easy to install and then you don't have to worry about it for another year or so. I was not sure on buying it because some had said they had problems with the buttons. But I found no problems. This is a must have because of the strobe effect. Almost like a cop car strobe. Will get you noticed also has a slower flash mode for those people who don't do well with quick flashing lights. Also a bright solid on. The rear light works great too perfect size and great product for the price. Sadly, the mounting system is terrible. It kept coming loose on the handlebars and drooping down no matter how hard I would tighten it. Additionally, the light itself would never "click" into place as the snap mechanism doesn't quite reach the hole when you slide it in. This makes it vulnerable to sliding off the mount and falling to the ground. Furthermore, the tracks on the light that slide onto the unit broke off the unit after less than a week's use. Now I'm left with a very good flashlight. |
