Yes, I had the original flea that didn't even have the usb charger, I had to do it the old fashioned way and hook up one of my rechargeable batteries to it to charge. Yah, kind of like back in the day when we could buy a candy bar for a nickel, and had to walk 15 miles in the snow just to get to school.Any ways, I was so happy with my first flea that I had to get a 2nd with the usb charger. Oh and the original one can use the new usb charger too. What's great about the flea is that it is very light. It's easy and quick to mount, and while the velco strap is reliable, if you have it too lose, it's not going to hold. You have to make sure it's tight. Overtightening the strap can cause an issue as the velcro might slip through the little tunnel where the velcro goes through. Not to worry however.
